At Tuckers Point, home after home left us breathless. Maybe the climb to some of the vantage points had something to do with this response but the stairs to this seemed to virtually lead to heaven, the one shutter invitingly open. It was a new experience to stay at Tuckers Point and a new palette of colors to explore, particularly this home. The dance of the shadows prancing down the steps, playing hide and seek on the way, belies its source: the tree to the left, even starting its performance on the porch exterior panel. The roof offered a significant challenge as the painting called out for both organic as well as architectural perception.
