With each step closer that I took to this guy, I continued to shoot away, fearing that each click of my camera would be the last before he spread his massive wings and the model session came to a quick close. Thinking back, I suspect he was a “local”, accustomed to impressing each tourist before flying off to his next client. At least, I was able to capture the composition I wanted…and the resulting painting. Believe it or not, the beach was actually crowded that day…
