About “In Between What Might Have Been and What Has Come To Pass”

Started as tradition on New Year’s Eve, this one marks a challenge attempted, both artistically and emotionally. I have never been confident painting flesh tones and this was created from a favorite photo of Julie taken years ago in Bermuda, a double dare. It has purposely been left unfinished…as was our time. She would have been pleased with her hair. I felt successful with the lenses and the glass. Our toast always was (and mine still is), “To the next time…”.
