About “Patience”
This watercolor of St. Ignatius was donated to the 2010 Blue and Gold Auction at Loyola Blakefield High School and sold there. The title was based, of course, on the idea that St.Ignatius held the sword patiently as he spent all night in vigil but also because I had to wait four years in order to catch a snowfall on the sculpture before it melted on the metal’s heat as I hustled down to snap a shot.
