About “Preaching to the Choir”
Based on a photo I took in Hamilton, Bermuda last December at the dock outside the Hamilton Princess, this is a very different palette – much cooler colors and in more of a city atmosphere. The water and its reflections were the primary interest as that rectangle virtually became an abstract painting inside the representational painting. The title comes from the idea that the kiskadee bird, with its characteristic call, was still singing the virtues of the beauty of Bermuda…even though anyone there already knew the lyrics.
