When I was a kid, I used to think that using every crayon in the box was the best way to make a really good picture. At some point, I learned that a limited palette is more apt to produce a cohesive and pleasing image. This was created with just 5 tubes of paint in order to suggest the quietly harmonized afternoon when this heron stood sentry in Bermuda. Once again, it is more about value than hue.
